A Letter To Parents

 

I am so excited to be teaching your students this year, and I want to invite you into the experience as well. My goal as a teacher is to provide students with a true understanding of learning, as well as imparting critical thinking skills. I want to make sure that students can relate to what I am teaching them, and I will endeaver to show them that what they learn here in school truly does have an impact on their lives outside of academia. 

 

If I want to achieve my goals, however, I need your help.  Every step of the way I encourage you to give input and provide outside the classroom the things that I cannot. To do this, and to keep connected with all of you, I hope this website will be a valuable tool. Here I will give additional resources and information for students, teachers, and parents alike so I can encourage learning outside the classroom. I will also provide updates regularly, so that you may stay on top of what we are covering in the classroom.

 

I cannot wait for my journey with your students to begin. I am glad that we can all share a part in their continued success!
